The marine flora and fauna, you will come across, consists of sea anemones, sponges, little corals, starfish, black-fish, rock-fish, octopuses, morays, rock-perch, lobsters, etc. In addition, you may stumble on old, sunken anchors and fragments of ancient amphorae.

All diving expeditions take place under the guidance of a Divemaster.

Boat Diving Tours

Two boats are especially designed to guarantee the best comfort on your diving trips. Enjoy daily diving-tours on our new cruising-boat! This is a 33 ft long and 11.5 ft beam, especially constructed diving-boat. It has a capacity of 22-26 divers and is designed to offer modern comfort and guarantee a safe and enjoyable trip for you and your family or friends. Non-divers are very welcome to accompany the divers and enjoy snorkeling at the dive-sides. Lunch, sandwiches and soft drinks are offered on board.

Powered by an IVECO AIFO inboard turbo-diesel engine the boat travels quickly to different destinations every day in a maximum distance of 20 miles. All the trips are going to be done along the coast close to the shore where we'll anchor and dive in different dive sites.

Meeting time for departure is at 08:00 in the morning, departure time at 08:30 and return time between 16:00 and 17:00 in the afternoon.

Our speedboat measures 25 ft length and is equipped with a Mercury 165HP outboard engine. The boat's capacity is 12 divers.
Twice daily the speedboat is leaving from the dive center to different dive sides in the area of Agia Pelagia. The first dive starts at 09:00, start for the second dive is 13:00.
Don/t miss our adventures night-dives! The departure-time for the night dives depends on the time of the year.

This same tour offers a reduced price if you have some or all of your equipment with you. An 8 days-7 nights plan, this tour offers 10 boat dives and accommodation in the Scala Palace Hotel.

You will arrive to Agia Pelagia on Saturday. Agia Pelagia is 24 km west of Iraklion so your flight will have to be booked for the Iraklion airport.

Sunday is the first day that you will enjoy diving. You meet your Divemaster at 08:00 am and embark the boat. The boat departs at 08:30 am and takes you to the diving location. At the end of the first dive of the day you will either have a quick lunch on board, or the whole team will be transfered to a nearby port and a local tavern.

Your second dive takes place early in the afternoon and are back in your hotel by 4 or 5 pm. You may enjoy your dinner at one of the many greek taverns by the beach of Agia Pelagia. You may wish to copy the Greek people, and order a combination of different appetizers plus a number of main dishes. Greek people rarely order a main dish for each person. They usually order a variety of different dishes and share them all together. Experiment with this new eating style and enjoy the great variety of different tastes.

The same plan applies for every day. There are many different locations in the area of Agia Pelagia but for 2003 the diving area is expected to be expanded even more, from Panormo to the west until Hersonissos to the east and Dia to the north. It is a 35 nautical miles diving field with an impressive variety of different diving locations.
