Golden sandy beaches, sunbathed vineyards. Houses with courtyards and basil. Remarkable archaeological sites. According to greek mythology, the goddess Hera (Juno) was born in Samos. Here were born the philosophers Pythagoras and Epicure and the mathematician Aristarchos.

The capital Samos, built in the recess of a great bay, preserves its traditional chaacter. Wandering around its lanes we discover beautiful neoclassical houses. It is worthwhile to visit the Archaeological museum and the museum of Byzantine Art.
